CAD Technician
An established building services consultancy is looking to recruit a CAD Technician to support the production and coordination of high-quality technical drawings across a range of projects. You’ll be responsible for producing accurate AutoCAD drawings, working closely with engineers, and ensuring all outputs meet agreed standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Produce and maintain AutoCAD building services drawings and models

* Create and modify 2D plans in line with project requirements

* Ensure all work complies with CAD standards and procedures

* Liaise with engineers to resolve technical issues and progress designs

* Attend client meetings where required to discuss CAD-related matters

* Use relevant project software including AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360

* Manage the preparation, issue, storage and archiving of drawings in line with company procedures

* Support the successful delivery of project milestones and deadlines
Skills & Experience

* Proven experience as a CAD Technician, ideally within building services or a related consultancy environment

* Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD

* Experience using BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (desirable)

* Good attention to detail and ability to work to CAD standards

* Strong communication skills and confidence working with engineers and project teams

Working Hours & Flexibility

* Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
