£35,000 + Bonus (OTE £42,000+) | Company Vehicle | Full Training

We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer on behalf of a well-established, market-leading UK supplier of industrial packaging machinery.

This opportunity is suitable for:

• Experienced Field Service Engineers

• Mechanical Engineers from maintenance, manufacturing or workshop backgrounds who want to move into a field-based service role

No previous field service experience is required - full product and systems training will be provided.

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair industrial packaging machinery at customer sites

• Planned preventative maintenance and breakdown response

• Assist with machinery installations and commissioning

• Provide basic operator training to customers

• Complete service documentation and reports

• Build strong working relationships with customers

• Home-based role covering the East of England

The Ideal Candidate

• Mechanical engineering background (electrical knowledge advantageous)

• Experience working with machinery in a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Logical fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload

• Professional, reliable and customer-focused

• Willing to travel within the region

Qualifications / Experience

• Mechanical Engineering qualification (C&G, NVQ, ONC or equivalent) preferred

• Hands-on engineering experience essential

• Full UK driving licence required
