Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division is currently seeking a Field Service Electronics Technician to join our team of world‑class customer service professionals.
This position is based in the greater Louisville, KY area. This is a remote position based from a home office with daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays; company vehicle provided!

As a Field Service Electronics Technician you will provide on‑site support, offering emergency repairs, start‑up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability.
From mission‑critical facilities to complex energy management challenges, we partner with customers as trusted advisors, delivering innovative solutions and technical expertise that safeguard operations and maximize uptime.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $53,000 ‑ $78,000 a year. Overtime Eligible. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Two (2) years of Power Systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience; including relevant coursework and internship experience.
- Posses and maintain a valid and unrestricted State Driver's license.
- Must undergo and pass customer entrance requirements as needed, which may include, but is not limited to, periodic background checks and drug screenings.
- Daily travel to customer sites is required, utilizing an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
- Provide support for customer needs outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three (3) weeks per quarter.
- Must perform physical tasks as needed, including assisted lifting/carrying 50+ lbs., pushing/pulling, standing for extended periods, climbing, squatting, bending, kneeling, and driving long distances.
- Reside outside the greater Louisville, KY area. Active‑duty military applicants are exempt from this location requirement.

- Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics from an accredited institution, current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree engineering program at an accredited institution or applicable military training and experience.
