Fire Risk Assessor - Home Based - Regional Travel

Due to new business acquisition, our client is looking to recruit experienced, highly skilled and driven Fire Risk Assessors to join their prestigious, fast‑growing team that provides quality service to a range of clients.

• Carry out site visits when needed for conducting Fire Risk Assessments
• Develop Fire Risk Assessment reports and Hazard Identification
• Interpret and apply risk‑based fire safety documents
• Evaluate passive fire protection arrangements and confirm appropriate methods for fire stopping service penetrations through compartment walls and ceilings
• Conduct fire safety management audits
• Present findings from assessments and audits to clients

• Recognised fire risk assessment qualification
• Experience of fire risk assessment in residential and/or social housing properties

• Qualification in a fire safety‑related discipline (HNC or above)
• Experience or qualification in building construction
• Full membership of a relevant professional body (IFE, RICS, CABE, CIOB)

• Large Risk Management Consultancy
• Regional travel within your area

You will receive ongoing CPD training to meet IFE learning criteria and will stay independently up‑to‑date on current fire safety legislation and best practice.

Salary: £45,000 – £60,000
