Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid Land Surveyor role based in Chelmsford, with some flexibility for remote work. Responsibilities include conducting field surveys, performing topographic and land measurements, and preparing clear and accurate survey reports. The Land Surveyor will utilise surveying tools to measure and map out project sites, while collaborating with the project team to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Additional tasks may include performing rail and construction-related surveys as required.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Topographic Surveys and Land Surveying
  • Experience with Total Station equipment and Surveying techniques
  • Rail experience is essential
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments
  • A degree, qualification or experience in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software tools and standards is a must
  • Experience in remote monitoring systems would be desirable

Package
