Overview
Signals Reconnaissance Program within RMS to craft and develop outstanding solutions. Supports C4
ISR and IRAD efforts. Requires advanced software solutions, technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation.
As a Project Engineer Senior Staff, you will manage multiple projects in the Sig Recon umbrella focused on the MSCS product line, including:
- Planning and formulating Project Management Baselines
- Active Control Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Managing Cost, Schedule, and Technical execution of multiple contracts
- Ensuring compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements
- Coordinating technical development, product installation scheduling, and resolving design and test problems
- Tasking, reviewing, and training team members
- Driving strategic process improvements across the organization
Typical candidates have a Bachelor’s degree plus 14 years of experience, or a Master’s degree plus 12 years of experience, or equivalent combined experience and education. Candidates demonstrate strong engineering foundations, problem‑solving, communication, leadership, adaptability, and professionalism aligned with company values.
Basic Qualifications- Advanced Control Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management (EVM) responsibilities
- Excellent customer relationship management skills, outreach, and communication experience
- Strong problem‑solving skills for technical solutions to complex problems
- Strong scheduling and planning to meet contractual milestones
- Advanced project management principles, theories, and concepts
- Excellent leadership skills and willingness to engage technical product baseline
- Experience with Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) or other Air Force/ISR programs
- Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Open Plan for Integrated Master Schedules
- Organized, flexible, interpersonal, initiative, multitasking, fast‑paced dynamic environment
- Experience writing or reviewing proposals or Basis‑of‑Estimates
- Excellent communication skills representing the organization in technical issue resolution
Position requires a government security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance level: TS/SCI.
Remote Work and SchedulePart‑time remote telework is required (part of the schedule remotely, part at a Lockheed Martin facility).
Schedule:
4‑day, 10‑hour days with 3 days off per week.
Annual base salary in relevant states: $122,900–$216,660. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
