In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing a variety of hydrogeologic work assignments including assessment, protection, preservation, utilization, and development of hydrogeologic features that are related to Source Water Assessment and Protection (SWAP) in southeastern Pennsylvania. Your responsibilities will include researching and evaluating hydrogeologic, hydraulic, and monitoring data in order to delineate wellhead protection areas for ground water sources serving public water systems, as well as promoting and supporting the development of local source water protection programs and strategies.

Work involves reading and interpreting technical plans, maps, and documents; preparing and commenting on correspondence, technical reports, and analyses; independently travelling to remote locations with a state vehicle; conducting visual inspections; and conducting, participating in, and speaking at internal and public meetings. • Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework:
  You may have the opportunity to work from home part-time, up to three days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Norristown.

• You must possess an active license as a professional geologist issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists.
• You must possess an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.

• PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
