Melia’s estimator will be responsible for taking off plan and spec projects, gather product pricing using pricing software or communicating with manufacturers directly, and writing up quotes. The estimator should be experienced with HVAC estimation, have product knowledge, and be computer savvy. The estimator will work with our salespeople and engineering team to ensure an accurate and competitive quote. The estimator should feel comfortable asking questions from colleagues and manufacturers, as well as occasionally conversing with customers.

• Perform accurate and thorough take-offs, reviewing specs
• Gather pricing through direct contact with manufacturers or through pricing software
• Write up professional and consistent quotes
• Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Seek out knowledge and ask questions for understanding
• Dress and act in a professional and personable manner, adding to the office culture

• Prefer minimum 2 years' experience in HVAC / Sheet Metal estimating
