Engineering Casting Specialist; Remote

• Conduct in-depth investigations at casting suppliers’ facilities to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement action plans to enhance product yield, quality, and delivery performance
• Monitor progress on action plans and publish detailed reports throughout the process
• Utilize solidification modeling tools to improve supplier performance
• Facilitate the transition of new part requirements with suppliers to align with production plans

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in casting mold gating design, solidification modeling, or aerospace casting specifications, OR a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience
• Expertise in casting process engineering with a strong background in solidification modeling
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for building relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
• Ability to travel approximately 50% to supplier locations
• Proactive approach to supplier collaboration and technical expertise in casting processes

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Foundry Engineering
• 12+ years of experience in casting mold gating design, solidification modeling, or aerospace casting specifications
• Certification as a user of solidification modeling software such as Procast and/or Magmasoft
• Prior experience with 3D design software, including Solidworks and/or CATIA
