Global Product Manager Seals

In this role you take ownership of one of Angst+Pfister’s most established and strategically important product lines:
Dynamic Seals (radial rotary shaft seals, axial shaft seals, piston/rod seals, wipers, guide rings, oscillating seals).

This is your opportunity to define, implement, and evolve the product line strategy for dynamic sealing applications to support the group’s growth targets across all channels – OEM, Production, Online, and Resellers.

You will be at the heart of strategic product management: combining market understanding, technical knowledge, supplier collaboration, and commercial acumen to ensure our portfolio stays competitive, profitable, and aligned with customer needs.

• Develop and execute the Dynamic Seals Product Strategy, targeting key industries and applications (e.g., tanti Agriculture, Mobility, Gearboxes, Hydraulics)
• Lead assortment development: introduce new products, phase out underperforming items, and anticipate future market needs
• Develop and maintain our value proposition, pricing logic, and competitive positioning, based on market research and analysis
• Create internal and external sales tools and product documentation, and support the preparation of marketing material in collaboration with Group Marketing
• Initiate and lead cross‑functional initiatives (e.g., package launches, promotions) together with Sales, Engineering, Group Quotation and Sourcing (GQS) Sealing Technology Team, and Channel Managers
• Represent the product line in customer meetings and support sales teams with completion session->feedback addressed in a complex, robust and multitaskable architecture
• Support online growth by creating optimized product content, article data and coordinating publication strategies
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and sourcing partners to develop new manufacturing capabilities

• Degree in engineering, materials science, chemistry, or business with strong technical orientation
• 5–10 years of experience in product management, ideally in elastomeric components, sealing systems, or industrial B2B markets
• Solid technical understanding of dynamic sealing applications
• Proven track record in portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, and pricing
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong project management and communication skills
• Fluent in local language and English (spoken and written); additional languages (e.g. German, Italian, French) are a plus
