Soft Serve Robotics Group has more than 36 passionate robotics engineers and is growing. Our team focuses on building and advancing robotics solutions.

• An expert in C/C++ and Python programming, with 5+ years of software development experience
• Holding an MSc degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Knowledgeable and practiced in mobile robots, drones, AGVs, AVs, AMRs, automotive systems, ROS/ROS2 & RViz, simulation tools (Gazebo, Nvidia Isaac Sim, Bullet, Carla), robotics perception, trajectory planning, kinematics, and obstacle avoidance
• Proficient in understanding, developing, and implementing complex systems
• Skilled in the principles and operations of robotics sensors, actuators, and control systems
• Experienced in Unix (Linux) systems
• Adept at HW/SW architecture design
• Highly skilled in testing, continuous integration, build, deployment, and monitoring for complex systems
• Well-versed in system design and performance evaluation
• Practiced in adhering to functional safety and safety of intended function standards
• Proven in using real-time odometry packages like LIO-SAM
• Familiar with CUDA kernels or other hardware acceleration techniques
• Proficient in English for professional communication
• Strong in analytical thinking with a solid mathematical foundation and a detail-oriented, problem-solving approach
• Enthusiastic about technology, keen to learn and share knowledge
• A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Experienced in technical marketing support, including presentations and workshops, with the ability to present to C-level executives (a plus)

• Design and develop solutions for various mobile robots, including ground, air, and underwater systems
• Build rapid prototypes and refine them into production-ready solutions
• Test robotics solutions in both simulated and real-world environments
• Integrate robots with cloud services for enhanced functionality
• Design automated robotic systems to improve production efficiency and precision in specific industries
