Location

We offer the flexibility to work from home or be based within our Manchester office – or a combination of both, with some travel around the UK to client sites required.

Salary and Benefits

£48k - £74k plus a car allowance, with an annual bonus scheme of up to 20% of base salary and a Share Option Scheme package. We also offer various supportive benefits, including private healthcare and 34 days holiday allowance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development and implementation of Asset Management Framework and associated systems
  • Leading projects capturing and analysing engineering and asset‑based information, developing asset management plans and investigating the root causes of inefficiencies and problems, modelling the whole‑life performance of major assets
  • Developing suitable, feasible and acceptable information base, analysis, recommendations and solutions
  • Leading the production of presentable client outputs (graphs, tables, slides, written reports) that underpin our advice and benefit client outcomes
  • Running and facilitating workshops and meetings with a range of audience engagement
  • Assistance in development of client’s target operating models
  • Forming relationships with clients to assist in moving work and business development forward
What are we looking for in a candidate?

The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of Asset Management and engineering analyses and the personal drive and motivation to support the delivery of our Asset Management services. Many of our clients won’t make strategic decisions on capital projects or operations without our advice; therefore they need the experience, skills and gravitas to communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders.

Skills & Interests
  • Understanding how physical assets are maintained and used
  • How data can be exploited to optimise asset value
  • A strong interest or experience (education or work) in data analysis and problem solving
  • A wealth of experience heading up engineering projects
  • Experience of writing proposals, bids, project control artefacts
  • Reliability and maintainability of equipment – Reliability theory
  • Excellent client‑facing skills and commerciality – personal qualities to make clients comfortable with you as their principal point of contact and to build strong relationships and business with both existing and new clients
  • Familiar with PAS
    55 / ISO 55000 and experience leading projects to optimise maintenance and performance using RCM, RCA, FMEA, etc.
  • Project‑management skills
Qualifications
  • Degree, Master’s, or PhD in engineering (mechanical, materials, aerospace, physics, mathematics (applied), computer science, civil, electrical, chemical or other relevant STEM degree)
