, you’ll take the lead in delivering high-quality, on-the-ground engineering solutions for some of Michigan’s most ambitious transportation projects. If you love solving problems and thrive in a dynamic, outdoor environment, this role is for you.

• Oversee and inspect construction progress, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed project documentation using tools like Field Manager, Field Book, or AASHTOWare.
• Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to address engineering challenges and keep projects on track.
• Manage quality assurance processes to ensure successful project delivery.

• Education: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Engineering.
• Experience:
• Non-Senior: 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Senior: 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Certifications:
• MDOT certification required for all candidates.
• FE desirable for non-senior engineers.
• FE required and PE preferred for senior engineers.
• Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to adapt to varied weather and schedules.

• Contribute to iconic projects like I-75 freeway improvements, US-23 expansion, and the I-94 modernization.
• Work outdoors on a variety of job sites with opportunities to lead high-impact construction activities.
