As part of our Bridge & Structures Practice, you will build client and partner relationships, pursue and win bridge‑ and/or structure‑centric projects, and manage and deliver those projects. The location for this role can be anywhere within the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, Southern California, or Central California. A remote working atmosphere is available with the ability to travel for client needs.

Capital projects are often large and multi‑disciplinary, involving all civil technical disciplines from multiple public and private organizations, as well as contract漁 management and oversight professionals from multiple agencies. For the consultant to provide the most effective service and phased deliverables, communication and collaboration skills are essential.

• Develop project proposals (including scope, schedule, and budget), build project teams, lead project interviews, negotiate terms and conditions, and develop and maintain client and partner relationships.
• Train engineers in the development of construction/contract documents (PS&E), technical studies and reports, and supporting calculations and documentation.
• Competency in the use of bridge‑specific finite element analysis, Inspection analysis, design, post‑processing, and related software.
• Familiarity with bridge design safety code
  
  Um requirements, including AASHTO LRFD.
• Familiarity with seismic design concepts.
• Perform construction site visits and offer construction support engineering services, including responding to contractor RFIs and reviewing shop submittals.
• Lead bridge‑preventative maintenance‑based projects which may include inspections.
• Coordinate with other civil engineering discipline leads, engineers, surveyors, environmental planners, consultant partners, client agencies, and stakeholders.
• Manage and track your time and key performance indicators amidst a multitude of deadlines and demands.

• B.S. Civil Engineering.
• California Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.

• M.S. Structural Engineering.
