Job DescriptionCapgemini Engineering is seeking two Systems Engineers to join an exciting new initiative with our partner in commercial aerospace and aviation. Responsibilities- Lead Systems Engineering activities across product development, upgrades, and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality artifacts such as requirements specifications, systems architecture models (MBSE), interface documentation, and other relevant materials.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert in Systems Engineering and/or MBSE.
- Support clients in their digital transformation journey by implementing Systems Engineering best practices, sharing lessons learned, and providing coaching and training to fellow engineers.
- Evaluate and support the advancement of Systems Engineering maturity within client organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering.
- Strong understanding of systems architecture (functional and logical), requirements engineering, interface definition, and verification & validation.
- Experience applying and teaching systems engineering processes (e.g., ISO
15288), including mentoring junior engineers. - Proficiency in Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including tools such as Cameo, Catia, and modeling languages/frameworks like SysML.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS, DOORS NG).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., INCOSE SEP, OMG MBSE certifications, IREB) are a plus.
- Experience with commercial aircraft design, FAR Part 25, and ARP‑4761 is advantageous but not required.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $90,000 to $150,000 as per number of years of experience. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The actual compensation offered may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
