• Participate in a team environment, working closely with Project Coordinators, other Project Managers, Senior Project Directors/Technical Leads and Field Technicians/Scientists/Engineers.
• Prepare Health and safety plans and Emergency response plans.
• Prepare proposals and cost estimates, schedule field staff and subcontractors, compile data for reports, write reports including preparing conclusions and recommendations.
• Responsible for project accounting, tracking and reporting requirements to the terms of reference under WSP's Master Services Agreements.
• Train junior staff in environmental practices and conduct site visits to ensure safety and technical requirements are meeting our high standards.
• Interface with clients to ensure needs are met and projects/proposals are moving forward with quality at the forefront.
• Work with and provide support to other members of the Remediation Program Management in sharing health and safety, project management, project completion and client service responsibilities.

• University degree or college diploma in engineering or environmental sciences.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contaminated site assessments; downstream experience is considered an asset.
• Sound understanding of the need for health and safety procedures in the workplace.
• Possess a safety conscious attitude.
• Strong field experience is considered an asset.
• Understanding of the BC Environmental Management Act/Contaminated Sites Regulation.
• Professional designation is preferred.
