E&I Designer; REMOTE

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an E&I Designer to join the team of a global Oil and Gas company in the Houston, TX area. The person in this role will be supporting a team of 60, designing 3D drawings in AVEVA Electrical and Instrumentation. They will be designing One-line diagrams, Schematics, Interconnection and wiring diagrams, Block diagrams, Area classification drawings, Conduit and cable schedules Power layout drawings, Cable Tray layouts, Earthing and Lightning Protection layout drawings, Lighting layout drawings, Electrical cable tray drawings, Electrical Equipment layouts, E&I support drawings, Cable blocks diagram, cable & Junction Box schedule, Instrument Hook up (Pneumatic and Process) Diagram, Installation standards, Loop Diagram, Fire & Gas Equipment Layout, PA system, MCT arrangements, etc.

• 10+ years of experience
• 3-5+ years of recent AVEVA software experience
• 10+ years in the Oil & Gas industry
• Skid-based design
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (I&E preferred)
• Offshore projects
