WSP’s Resources subsector, part of the ERI (Energy, Resources and Industry) sector, supports clients across Canada with services ranging from economic studies and project management to detailed design, procurement, site management, commissioning, and industrial programming. The division handles industrial and mining projects from conceptual feasibility through EPCM detailed engineering, site closure, and dismantling. Our multidisciplinary team delivers high‑standard engineering solutions and drives innovation.
The OpportunityWSP is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join the Sudbury office. The role supports the project management team in delivering engineering deliverables on complex mining and heavy‑industrial projects from start to finish.

What you can expect to do here- You will:
- Support resourcing and budget management.
- Coordinate engineering deliverables with discipline leads.
- Maintain manpower planning.
- Prepare and maintain project schedule and cost control reports.
- Manage any and all project changes.
- Prepare and maintain HSE and quality procedures for each project.
- Manage owner and stakeholder reporting; represent WSP at meetings and presentations; address issues raised by owners/clients.
- Handle inquiries and issues in a timely manner related to project scope of work.
- Capture and report lessons learned from previous projects and project phases.
- Lead or support business development efforts in proposal preparation (scoping projects and communicating to discipline leads).
- Minimum diploma or degree in engineering.
- 7+ years of consulting experience focused on mining and heavy industrial clients and projects.
- 3+ years of project management experience for multidisciplinary projects.
- EIT, CET or P.Eng. designation desired.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team‑player attitude.
- A self‑motivated individual seeking advancement opportunities.
- Ability to interact comfortably with clients in a multi‑disciplined environment.
- Valid driving license.
