job summary:
We're looking for a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Project Manager to join our team for a 6-month, 100% remote contract. In this role, you'll be instrumental in leading complex projects focused on warehouse automation, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and industrial systems.

responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of warehouse automation, MHE, and industrial systems projects, from planning to execution and closeout.
• Oversee and ensure the successful commissioning and validation of automated systems.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for MHE systems, encompassing:
  • Functional testing
  • Throughput and performance validation
  • Installation quality checks
  • Compliance and safety verification
  • Integration and exception handling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
• Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to stakeholders regularly.

qualifications:

• 5-20 years of proven project management experience, with a strong focus on warehouse automation, MHE, and industrial systems.
• Direct experience with warehouse automation and engineering, ideally within retail industries.
• Demonstrated expertise in the commissioning and validation of automated systems.
• Deep understanding of warehouse operations and performance metrics.
• Exceptional project coordination and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to develop and execute detailed test plans for complex MHE systems.
