Senior Highway Engineer

T&M Associates is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer for our Transportation/Highway Department in any of our New Jersey offices. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in all aspects of highway and traffic design for the delivery of complex projects and assignments for county and agency projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4+ years of related experience managing civil/highway projects in the transportation industry.
• EIT preferred, with the ability to obtain NJ PE license.
• Proficiency in Micro Station and AutoCAD required.
• Experience with NJ Counties and NJDOT projects and knowledge of their design standards, procedures and requirements is required.
• Detail oriented with a strong command of design principles and the ability to develop accurate design calculations.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, writing, and verbal communication including public speaking skills are required.

T&M estimates that the salary range for this position will fall between $91,000 - $118,000. The actual salary offered may vary within this range, depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, educational qualifications, specific skills and knowledge, as well as internal pay equity and geographic location.
