A progressive civil and structural engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support its continued growth. The practice is known for delivering high-quality engineering solutions through collaboration, technical excellence and a detail-focused approach.

This opportunity would suit an individual already operating at senior level who is looking to take on greater responsibility while working on a varied portfolio of infrastructure and development projects. Key Responsibilities

The appointed engineer will be responsible for contributing to and leading aspects of project delivery, including:

Preparation of SAB applications and liaison with local authorities through to full approval
Section 104 and Section 106 drainage design
Section 38 and Section 278 highways design
Delivery of concept and detailed designs, including technical calculations, tender and construction packages
Attendance at client, design team and site meetings
Coordination with statutory bodies, architects, M&E consultants and contractors

Candidate Profile

Suitable candidates are likely to demonstrate:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil engineering, with a BEng or MEng and progress toward Chartered ICE status
Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
Excellent practical problem-solving ability
Sound understanding of civil engineering design principles, including experience working to CIRIA C753 (SuDS Manual)
Working knowledge of PDS, Causeway Flow / Micro Drainage, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Ability to produce clear, accurate technical reports
High levels of attention to detail and strong organisational skills
