What's in it for you?
• Salary up to £74,000

• Core hours: 9:30am - 3:00pm

What will you be doing?
• Producing high-quality process design and analysis deliverables
• Writing technical reports and specifications for process system equipment
• Developing and substantiating technical solutions, including calculations and design basis
• Analysing plant, commissioning and test data to model and predict equipment performance
• Supporting design reviews, ISA/HAZOP meetings and technical change processes
• Maintaining specialist knowledge of current process system designs and performance
• Supporting project proposals, including schedules and cost forecasts
• Managing technical deliverables and providing clear progress reporting
• Working with internal and external stakeholders, including European suppliers
Where will you be doing it?
You'll be based in Cheshire within a Technical Services environment, supporting complex engineering projects through robust process design, analysis and technical assurance in a highly regulated setting.
What you'll need:
• A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Experience in process or chemical engineering design
• Knowledge of process modelling and simulation tools such as MATLAB or Simulink
• Experience with in the nuclear sector or another large process industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good general IT skills
• Ability to explain and justify technical decisions clearly
• French or German language skills would be an advantage
