We are currently seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join our Technical Services WW Consulting team in Seattle, WA.

Newly built buildings need you to ensure they operate as designed. Existing buildings need your capable hands to fine‑tune operations.

Technical and Consulting Services:

• Helping our clients improve efficiency and lower operating costs on new and exciting projects.
• Ensuring buildings deliver maximize comfort for the life of the building.
• Developing, managing and coordinating project‑specific commissioning and balancing plans.
• Performing commissioning activities on a variety of building systems.
• Verifying building system compliance to engineering specifications.
• Reviewing system installation, start‑up, functional performance and control systems operations.

• Manage project specific pre‑start, start‑up, and test‑adjust‑balance field work
• Conduct Cx coordination meetings as needed with owner, project management, contractor, and other Cx team members as defined in the Cx plan
• Develop a project specific training agenda and manage the systems training
• Represent McKinstry at project specific Cx coordination meetings
• Provide recommendations and feedback regarding the design, equipment selection, test and balance requirements, maintainability, and potential enhancements of the system.
• Communicate noted Cx issues, questions, and concerns through proper channels in a timely manner

The pay range for this position is $76,320 - $122,200 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
