Product Manager I/II, Edge Computing
Location: Downer Grove, IL – Onsite
Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000
Responsibilities- Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for edge computing hardware, including motherboards, computer peripherals, and network cards.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats of vertical markets, such as manufacturing, automation, energy, and transportation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including technical support, marketing, and sales, to ensure product alignment with business objectives.
- Gather and prioritize customer requirements to guide the direction of the product roadmap.
- Manage product life cycles from conception to end‑of‑life, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Create and present product proposals, business cases, and go‑to‑market plans to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (preferred).
- 3–5+ years of experience in product management, project management, or product engineering within the computer industry or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of Intel/AMD platforms and PC architecture.
- Experience with computer hardware including CPU/GPU, motherboards, memory, storage, and other add‑ons.
- Experience with OEM/ODM project management (preferred).
- Proven track record of managing product life cycles and successfully bringing products to market.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to take initiative and execute tasks effectively.
