£450 per day (Umbrella)
Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm
West London (some remote working may be available, subject to service needs)
We are recruiting a Principal Fire Safety Surveyor to lead on fire safety compliance within a large and complex organisation based in West London. This is a key role responsible for ensuring robust fire safety standards, effective risk management, and statutory compliance across a diverse property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee fire safety management within a facilities management environment
Carry out fire safety inspections and audits across buildings
Identify, assess, and prioritise fire risks and hazards in complex settings
Develop and implement effective compliance and monitoring systems
Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety and Fire Safety legislation
Deliver clear presentations and training to staff and stakeholders
Provide expert advice and leadership on fire safety matters

Essential Experience &

Skills:

Proven experience leading fire safety within facilities management
Must have experience working in a council or housing association to be considered.
Strong background in risk prioritisation and hazard profiling
In-depth knowledge of Fire Safety and Health & Safety legislation
Demonstrable leadership experience delivering compliance services
Experience setting up and managing risk monitoring systems
Confident communicator with experience delivering training and presentations
