A well-established and growing supplier of print finishing and packaging machinery in the UK is seeking a skilled and passionate Field Service Engineer to join their technical support team. With exclusive access to a range of leading international equipment, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer support and industry expertise.

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and technically skilled engineer who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and delivering great service. You will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing high-end print finishing and packaging machinery. The role involves UK-wide travel, with occasional overseas trips.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide remote and on-site technical support, including installations, servicing, maintenance, and repairs

* Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software faults efficiently

* Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and minimal machine downtime

* Provide technical training to customers and colleagues

* Manage van stock effectively to improve first-time fix rates

* Collaborate with international suppliers and manufacturers to implement solutions

* Support sales efforts by assisting with demonstrations and trade shows

Candidate Profile

* Minimum 5 years of relevant technical experience, ideally in print or packaging machinery

* Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

* Confident working independently and travelling nationwide

* Excellent communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach

* Full UK driving licence (with trailer towing capability)
