• Accept projects on a weekly basis, ensuring timely completion based on availability
• Conduct comprehensive patent searches and provide a detailed search history
• Prepare written opinions applying relevant prior art to specific disclosures
• Maintain proficiency in commercial patent searching databases and proprietary technical publications
• Ensure compliance with the employer's Code of Business Ethics and Corporate Conduct

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with patents or in the intellectual property field
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the industry or advanced research in a related field
• Must pass USPTO Background check and ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• U.S. citizen or work‑eligible legal resident who has resided in the U.S. for the last two years

• Previous patent examining/patent searching experience
• Highly skilled in developing search methodologies and conducting searches
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Experience with patent databases such as Orbit, Pat Base, Google Scholar, or Pat Seer
• Master’s degree or PhD is a plus
