As a Senior Product Manager – Flexible Platforms at Alicat Scientific, Inc., you will own the strategy and growth of our platform-level product offerings, including gas mixers, gassing modules, portable calibration units, calibrators, and dual sensor solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Alicat’s flexible platforms by combining market insights, customer feedback, and business acumen to deliver innovative solutions that meet evolving industry needs.

You will lead market analysis, define and execute sales and marketing strategies, and champion Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives to guide engineering and new product development. From building compelling business cases to driving pricing strategies and promotional plans, you’ll ensure each platform achieves measurable success in bookings, revenue, and profitability.

This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and proven experience in product lifecycle management. • Market analysis of platform level product offerings including gas mixers, gassing modules, portable calibration units, calibrators, and dual sensor offerings.
• Develop and drive sales and marketing strategy for each platform including pricing, target lists, promotion, and part numbers.
• Perform regular VOC of all potential and existing platforms advising engineering and new product team of developments.
• Create business case for any new platforms and associated CDC, as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in BDB technical or manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies
• Experience with VOC processes
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and business case development
• Data driven with excellent analytical skills

• Gather competitive pricing on MXM platform
• Refine, drive, and iterate existing sales and marketing strategy for MXM platform
• Begin VOC of gassing modules and PCU platform
• Begin VOC of dual sensor platforms

• Evaluate effectiveness of MXM sales and marketing strategy and report results and suggested improvements.
• Complete VOC of gassing modules and PCU platform
• Narrow scope of the gas module to one target market and develop a rough sales and marketing plan.
• Analyze VOC of PCU platform and work with Senior OEM Systems Engineer to gather necessary data for a CDC of the next generation PCU platform
• Continue VOC of dual sensor platforms, if needed.

• Drive sales and marketing strategy for the gas module, achieving early wins.
• Complete VOC of dual sensor platforms and develop sales and marketing strategies for one platform.
