Bachelor's degree or master's degree from an accredited university in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.

• 6+ years of structural engineering experience (must include foundation design)
• PE License required
• SE License preferred

• MS Office
• MathCAD
• Structural Analysis or Finite Element Analysis Software (RISA 3D preferred)
• RISA Foundations or CSI SAFE preferred
• 3D modeling software (Revit preferred)

• Independently complete design of structures
• Independently complete design of lateral systems
• Prepare specifications
• Coordinate drafting efforts
• Coordinate permitting efforts
• Effectively facilitate external coordination with other members of design team and owners
• Internal coordination with drafting, engineering, and BIM departments
• Construction administration including review of submittals, issuing and reviewing RFIs
