TWS Engineer

10 is currently seeking a TWS Engineer (Tivoli workload scheduler)

Client location:
Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12‑month+ contract hybrid remote position.

• Work as part of a global team across Americas, Europe, and Ireland.
• Support existing and future IBM Workload schedulers used by the bank.
• Translate job scheduling business technical requirements into scheduled jobs.
• Design, develop, document, and implement major product upgrades and migration processes.
• Provide maintenance and support of the existing IBM Workload scheduler.
• Design and develop schedules for on‑prem and cloud‑based applications.
• Design and develop cloud‑based job types such as REST API, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, etc.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production failures.
• Work with various teams for deployment, configuration, and validation of new schedules in all environments.
• Perform performance tuning to increase the productivity of scheduling tools.
• Conduct impact analysis for new implementations on existing systems and document back‑out plans.
• Participate in cross‑training sessions with other teams.
• Provide excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Provide weekend and on‑call support on a rotational basis.

• 8+ years of experience with scheduling tools such as IBM Workload Automation, Autosys, or other prominent schedulers.
• Strong cloud infrastructure experience.
• Have experience in a similar position.
• Experience with Oracle/SQL databases.
• Experience with Red Hat Linux, AIX, and Windows.
• Experience with cloud based technologies such as Azure.
• Experience developing and supporting REST API, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks based jobs.

Pay rate range: $70 - $75 hourly.
