• Accept projects with defined due dates based on your availability
• Conduct comprehensive searches to identify relevant prior art and prepare search histories
• Analyze disclosures to understand technical nuances and prepare written opinions on patentability
• Maintain proficiency with commercial patent searching databases and proprietary technical publications
• Ensure compliance with the employer's Code of Business Ethics and Corporate Conduct

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with patents or in the intellectual property field
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the industry or advanced research in a related field
• Must pass USPTO Background check and obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• U.S. citizen or work‑eligible legal resident who has resided in the U.S. for the last two years

• Previous patent examining or patent searching experience
• Strong skills in developing search methodologies and conducting searches
• Excellent time management skills to complete projects against deadlines
• Experience with patent databases such as Orbit, Pat Base, Google Scholar, or Pat Seer
• Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field is a plus
