The Energy Storage Engineer will play a key role in the development, evaluation, and integration of energy storage systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and testing storage systems, conducting research and development, and applying materials science principles to improve product performance. The engineer will work closely with electrical engineering teams to ensure efficient energy system designs.

This is a full-time hybrid role, based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, allowing for a combination of on-site and remote work.

• Experience in batteries and energy storage systems
• Strong background in materials science and knowledge of their application in energy systems
• Proficiency in electrical engineering with a focus on system design and optimization
• Ability to conduct and contribute to research and development (R&D) initiatives
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
• Familiarity with energy storage regulations and industry standards is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across teams
