- Conduct comprehensive searches to locate relevant prior art and provide a complete search history
- Prepare written opinions applying prior art to disclosures
- Maintain proficiency with commercial patent searching databases and proprietary technical publications
- Ensure compliance with the employer’s Code of Business Ethics and Corporate Conduct
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience working with patents or in the intellectual property field
- 1+ year of work experience in the industry or advanced research in a related field
- Must pass USPTO background check
- U.S. citizen or work‑eligible legal resident who has resided in the U.S. for the last two years
- Previous patent examining/patent searching experience
- Highly skilled in developing search methodologies and conducting searches
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with Orbit, Pat Base, Google Scholar, or Pat Seer
- Master's degree or PhD is a plus
