Senior Property Risk Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Property Risk Engineering Consultant with a passion for delivering top-tier risk management solutions. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and possess a robust understanding of property risk engineering.

This is a remote position. Work will be conducted from a home office and attend company meetings when necessary. The position requires travel into the Philadelphia and surrounding area.

• Provide expert field risk engineering to fulfill underwriting needs and support decision-making processes.
• Develop and implement effective customer service strategies aimed at minimizing loss and enhancing client operations.
• Offer engineering expertise during client broker meetings to support the underwriting team.
• Conduct field engineering assessments, particularly for larger sites within the region, to evaluate and mitigate risks.
• Deliver comprehensive consultative services, identifying major loss exposures and advising on property management programs.
• Collaborate with underwriting professionals and agents to promote risk transfer insurance products across various business segments.

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 years of experience in Property Risk Engineering, or a High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in collaborative, team-based environments.

• Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Highly Protected Risk (HPR) properties.
• Background in property loss control or risk engineering within the insurance sector.
• Certification as a Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS).
• Exceptional communication and consultative abilities.
• Proficiency with PC and MS-Office software.
