- Conduct comprehensive searches to locate relevant prior art and provide a complete search history
- Prepare written opinions applying relevant prior art to patent disclosures
- Maintain proficiency with commercial patent searching databases and proprietary technical publications
- Ensure timely delivery and high‑quality standards for all work products
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with patents or in the intellectual property field
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the industry or advanced research in a related field
- Ability to pass a USPTO Background check and obtain Public Trust Clearance
- U.S. citizen or work‑eligible legal resident who has resided in the U.S. for the last two years
- Previous patent examining or patent searching experience
- Highly skilled in developing search methodologies and conducting searches
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with patent databases such as Orbit, Pat Base, Google Scholar, or Pat Seer
- Master's degree or PhD in a related field is a plus
