Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager

Base Pay Range$/yr - $/yr
Position Responsibilities- Review and perform engineering calculations, prepare specifications and technical reports, develop design details and communicate same to others. Individual is expected to be fully‑versed in aspects of structural engineering for the industrial sector: including the analysis and design of steel and concrete structures and foundation systems.
- Maintaining project schedule, scope, profitability, and other project management functions.
- Assist business development efforts by applying technical knowledge to identify and understand client needs and define scope of work requirements to support proposals.
- Coordinate effectively with other departments for multi‑discipline projects.
- Maintain and expand client relationships.
- Some travel may be required; this is an office‑based position.
- Minimum B.S. degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited University or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with industrial structural design and/or project management.
- Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer.
- Thorough knowledge and familiarity in using relevant codes and standards, such as ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, ACI.
- Master’s Degree.
- Very strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Individual must have a work history which represents increasing responsibility, inclusive of leadership without authority.
- $120k - $140k per year, depending on all candidate factors; such as qualifications, experience level, etc.
