Senior Mechanical Engineer – Liquid Cooling / Thermal Systems

Note:
Remote workers will be required to visit Calabasas, CA office; length and frequency to be determined

• Develop state-of-the-art IP test products
• Design mechanical and thermal system solutions, including sourcing off-the-shelf parts
• Simulate and design thermal solutions
• Work with suppliers to resolve DFM/DFA concerns
• Validate designs, obtain quotes, build and test prototypes

• Experienced with direct-to-chip liquid cooled system design and implementation, including cold plate design, manifold design and sourcing off-the-shelf components.
• Proven track record in product development from concept through detail design and design validation.
• Strong design skills, analytical problem solving and attention to detail.
• Experience designing complex electro‑mechanical systems & thermal management solutions including liquid cooling.
• Knowledge of sheet metal, machined parts, plastic and extrusion fabrication methods.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Solid Works; familiar with ANSI drafting standards.
• Ability to excel in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills and ability to work in small teams required.
• Knowledge of networking/data center equipment.
• Experience with Solid Works Flow Simulation a plus.

• BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering with 6+ years relevant experience required.
