• Accept projects weekly with defined due dates based on availability
• Conduct comprehensive searches for relevant prior art and document search history
• Prepare written opinions applying prior art to patent disclosures
• Maintain proficiency with commercial patent searching databases
• Ensure compliance with the employer’s Code of Business Ethics and Corporate Conduct

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or related field
• 1+ year of experience in the intellectual property field or with patents
• 1+ year of work experience in a related industry or advanced research
• Must pass a USPTO background check and obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• U.S. citizen or legal resident eligible to work, residing in the U.S. for the last two years

• Previous experience in patent examining or searching
• Highly skilled in developing search methodologies
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Familiarity with patent databases like Orbit, Pat Base, Google Scholar, or Pat Seer
• Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field
