Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Join a respected engineering firm as a Geotechnical Engineer in South Carolina, delivering designs for bridges, roadways, dams, and foundations. This role offers technical ownership on impactful infrastructure projects at a company known for quality, collaboration, and long-term client partnerships.

• Deliver geotechnical designs for a wide range of infrastructure projects—including bridges, roadways, dams, levees, and foundation systems—ranging from basic to complex.
• Review and approve design drafts to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and internal quality standards.
• Conduct site visits and studies to align project execution with DOT standards and local practices.
• Perform soil sampling, analysis, and modeling, contributing technical insight to white papers and industry publications.
• Support business development by collaborating on proposals, meeting with clients, and representing the firm at industry events.

• Compensation: $180,000 - $225,000

• Bachelor’s in civil engineering or a related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
• At least 8+ years’ experience in geotechnical engineering.
