Senior Systems Sales Engineer

• Perform technical tasks including written proposals, network design, engineering, and quotations
• Communicate solutions to customers and collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs
• Conduct network and applications engineering for multiple products and complete complex network designs
• Prepare complex design and application presentations and assist in proposal preparation
• Consult with customers on the application of products for next-generation architectures and propose enhancements

• Technical Degree; BSEE or relevant experience
• 5-12 years of telecommunication industry experience
• Experience in technical sales activities and ability to understand customer needs
• Proficient in data networking protocols including IP and Ethernet
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities

• Knowledge of fiber optic transmission systems and telecommunications network architectures
• Familiarity with software applications related to network automation and orchestration
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and JSON
• Understanding of open architecture concepts like Open Stack and REST API
• Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision
