Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Associate IT Engineering Systems Support Analyst to join our team! In this role you will undertake regular technical support assignments to install and set up Engineering Systems (ES) software and hardware that meet project and end‑user requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing- Work as an ES team member completing ES support tasks under the direction of more senior team members.
- Provide general troubleshooting and system maintenance required for advanced workstations employed for CAD and engineering production.
- Address daily support requests from end users forwarded by the IS Service Desk. Refer complex issues, questions and problems to more senior ES team members.
- Apply knowledge of advanced workstations to troubleshoot hardware and configuration issues (graphic adaptors, driver configuration, etc).
- Participate in regular upgrades, modifications or enhancements to existing ES systems and with implementation of new ES systems.
- Install standard ES‑related software traditionally or with the Parsons delivery system (Appsetra®).
- Install and configure ES‑related software applications to meet requirements established by a project.
- Assist other Parsons IT teams (e.g., desktop support team) with set up and support of Parsons ES delivery system (Appsetra®).
- Identify advanced issues, questions and problems and elevate those to ES Analyst or Senior Analyst.
- 2‑year or 4‑year degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related technical discipline.
- Experience in both engineering and IT.
- Knowledge of advanced computer hardware, such as 2D and 3D workstations utilized for engineering and design operations and production.
- Familiar with standard systems and tools that provide ES problem resolution and tracking.
- Working knowledge of computer‑aided engineering, tools and methodology.
- General knowledge of engineering and design applications such as AutoCAD, Micro Station, Project Wise™.
- Ability to work effectively with end users and as a member of the ES team.
- Written and oral communication skills appropriate for the position, including the ability to speak well in basic professional situations.
- Ability to write basic documents (may include email or memos).
- Communicate with a limited group of individuals (employees and some managers) throughout the organization and may occasionally communicate with those outside the organization (i.e., clients, vendors).
- Progressive experience working in several of the following areas: engineering, design, architecture, engineering collaboration application systems (e.g., Project Wise™).

Salary Range$26.25 – $45.96 per hour
