Remote Professional Engineer - Geotechnical

Insight Global is looking for a sharp, entrepreneurial-minded Geotechnical Professional Engineer to join an innovative ground screw solutions company sitting remotely. This is a full-time, permanent role with competitive base salary, bonus structure, and comprehensive benefits. This role requires quarterly travel to Des Moine, IA.

This in-house design engineer will lead the development, deployment, and promotion of this company's ground screw foundation systems. This is a unique opportunity to help lead the technical direction of a growing company while working closely with sales and leadership teams to bring cutting-edge foundation solutions to market.

To be successful in this role, we are seeking foundation engineers or structural engineers with at least 5 years of engineering experience.

• Serve as the company’s technical authority on ground screw foundation systems

• Partner with the sales team to provide technical expertise during client engagements, proposals, and presentations

• Lead the development of engineering standards, design tools, and installation guidelines

• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to support project planning and sales

• Design and validate custom foundation solutions for diverse applications

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings

• Build and eventually lead a high-performing engineering team as the company grows

• Founding engineering role with leadership potential

• Path to Director of Engineering or Chief Engineer

• Influence product strategy and innovation

• Active PE (Professional Engineer) license in the U.S.

• Degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in foundation design, geotechnical systems, or construction engineering

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and field teams
