FIRAS Inspector

• Conduct applicant installer company assessments.
• Organise sampled site inspections.
• Perform competency assessments of supervisors, technicians and operatives employed by FIRAS certified companies.
• Document, report and record findings from client visits.
• Provide sound technical advice to clients and enquiries regarding scheme rules and regulations.

• Experience at a technical level in passive fire protection (contractor, product manufacturer or testing and approval body).
• Ability to work in a customer‑facing role.
• Previous exposure to structural steel boarding, fire‑rated ducting, glazing, partition systems, penetration, roller shutter doors, cementitious spray, fire doors, cavity barriers, intumescent paint.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook) and mobile/laptop devices.
• Good general education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• On‑site inspection experience.
• Strong prioritisation, organisation and coordination skills.
• Work‑from‑home contract.
• Ideally based in London / South East areas.
• Clean driving licence and full UK passport.
