Controls Engineer- The Role
- Design and implement control systems including Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs
- Develop and manage HMI SCADA systems for optimal operational efficiency
- Create Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and I/O Schedules in line with project requirements
- Interpret P&'s to ensure accurate system configuration and performance
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by staying abreast of industry trends and technologies
- The Person
- Proven experience in PLC / Controls Engineering
- Proficiency with Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs
- Strong skills in HMI SCADA systems
- Ability to read and interpret P&'s
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Located in Nottinghamshire, this role would be commutable from Nottingham, Leicester, Derby and can be highly hybrid with the majority of time either work from home or up to 40% at client site across the East of England with monthly meetings at head office in Nottinghamshire.
