Fire Engineer & Engineering Manager- Rail

People Group are recruiting for 1x Fire Engineers and 1x Fire Engineering Manager.

The Fire Engineer will support a leading rail consultancy who have won the majority of the engineering works in the North West & Central region on CP7 frameworks. You will be required to travel to various Network Rail sites on an ad-hoc basis and work from home the rest.

The Fire Engineering Manager will support our client, who is at the forefront of the mechanical, electrical and telecommunication market with expertise and long-standing experience across Rail, Highways, Power, and Tunnels. They have secured 7 – 10 years’ work, on major and high-profile infrastructure projects, UK wide.

Fire Engineer - Birmingham or Manchester & Fire Engineering Manager - London.

• Coordination of work with other contractors and Network Rail.
• Liaison with route engineers (discipline).
• Substantial experience in the design, installation and commissioning of fire systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of codes and standards pertaining to the design of fire systems, which shall include evidence of passing relevant courses such as LPC / BAFE etc.
• Substantial experience in the design and review of fire strategies and engineering solutions
• Assurance of Fire Systems (limited to system design and commissioning).
