• Perform computer-aided drafting and design for life safety and security systems in advanced facilities.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create and coordinate 3D BIM models with architects and engineers.
• Assist in developing layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, and Security/Intrusion Detection Systems.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and client requirements, delivering accurate, constructible solutions.

• Proven experience in drafting and BIM design, ideally in life safety systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• At least 10 years of AutoCAD experience.
• 3-5 years of Revit design experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Industrial design experience (preferred).
• Autodesk Certification Professional ACP or other drafting technologies certifications (preferred).

• Hybrid role based in Austin, TX;
  Tempe, AZ;
  Portland, OR;
  Moon Township, PA; or Albany, NY. Highly qualified candidates located in the U.S. are welcome.
