The purpose of this position is to lead the Quality Assurance program across a portfolio of Core Programs projects.

What you will doEnsure project execution is compliant with all regulatory codes and Enbridge Standards.
Provide technical support to Construction Inspection teams for inquiries related to Enbridge Specifications and Standards.
Perform field Quality assessments and record assessments.
Identify quality risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Provide guidance on the applicable standards and regulations for the program or project.
Ensure compliance with Enbridge standards and regulatory codes.
Provide training and quality support to project teams.
Lead investigations of Quality Incidents.
Provide project quality updates and transmit reports to the Project Team.
Communicate all quality issues and incidents to the Project Team members and subject matter experts.
Review and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Contractor Quality Plans.
Prepare for and participate in regulatory inspections of project construction.
Perform QA of Engineering through the review of drawing packages and project material procurement.
Support the continuous improvement of the Quality Management program.
Post-secondary degree or diploma.
Minimum of 6 years of pipeline and/or facilities projects experience (gas and oil related). Note a combination of education and experience will be considered.
Welding, Coating, NDE and other industry certifications (such as NACE/CIP, CWI, API, etc.).
Knowledge of oil and gas regulatory codes (CFR, CSA).
Engineering, Construction, or Quality management experience required.
Proven interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, and manage change.
Role requires a valid driver s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
Valid passport and the ability to travel between Canada and US.
70% typical office environment.
30% monthly field visits - not to include any manual labor.
Must have the ability to travel and maneuver in active construction sites (walking up variable grades and traversing ladders to access ditches).

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light to moderate lifting (up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods.
Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to: Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions, understand complex problems and collaborate on solutions, organize thoughts and ideas, prioritize work, make decisions with moderate impact, follow basic instructions, complete routine forms, compose letters and reports, and communicate with others via telephone.
US Only SummarySalary: $94,300 - $145,000/year USD
