Senior Quality Engineer

We are representing a FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization that is actively seeking a Senior Quality Engineer due to rapid growth and expansion. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Quality Director in strategic and day-to-day Quality-related activities while working to improve Quality processes and systems.

**** This is a 4 day week onsite position (Fridays work from home option). ****

• The Senior Quality Engineer utilizes quality and continuous improvement tools and methodology to enhance the quality assurance program, solve problems and avoid repeat issues.
• Senior Quality Engineer will also provide guidance to the Quality Engineering staff and fill in for Quality Management when necessary.
• Use structured problem solving tools to understand product issues, obtain failed units, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Operations.
• Improve existing and help develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and work with Quality Analytics to build data models for early detection of product issues.
• Provide regular updates on issues, metrics, and improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years in a design/manufacturing environment focused on customer quality, issue resolution, or product improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  Six Sigma Black Belt or ASQ certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
