Mineral & Leasehold Title Agent

Minimum 5 years of experience required

Volta Group is seeking an experienced Mineral and Leasehold Title Agent to support projects across renewables, transmission, BESS, traditional energy, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of title experience with a strong background in mineral title, leasehold analysis, and chain-of-title research.

• Conduct mineral, leasehold, and surface title research, including runsheets and ownership reports
• Review and analyze deeds, leases, easements, agreements, and legal descriptions
• Identify title defects and support curative efforts
• Coordinate with project managers, land agents, and legal teams across multiple project types
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet project timelines

• Minimum 5 years of mineral and leasehold title experience
• Strong understanding of title standards, conveyance instruments, and land records
• Experience supporting renewables, transmission, BESS, and ROW projects preferred
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
