Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a qualified and innovative Systems Engineer Modeling Simulation / Principal Systems Engineer Modeling Simulation – Integration to join the Model Based Test & Evaluation (MBTE) team. This role is pivotal in driving advancements in cutting‑edge technology, and we are looking for a creative thinker who thrives in a dynamic environment. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.
Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. The role can be filled at either level.

- Supporting the team to develop processes and techniques using engineering best practices and standards.
- Assisting with collaboration across multiple groups, including Program Management, external suppliers, and government customers.
- Supporting preparation and coordination of technical review boards, ensuring stakeholder engagement and approval.
- Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience; OR Master of Science in a STEM discipline with 0 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in‑scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time.
- Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 5 years of relevant experience; OR Master of Science in a STEM discipline with 3 years of relevant experience; OR Ph.D. in a STEM discipline with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance (DoD must be in‑scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools and Agile software development.
- Cameo knowledge.
- Active Top‑Secret clearance.
Primary Level Salary Range: $77,200.00 – $. Secondary Level Salary Range: $95,300.00 – $. These ranges represent general guidelines; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and provide an opportunity to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long‑Term Incentives.
